6th year coach Marin comes to St. Bonaventure after winning a C.I.F. title in 2011 at Santa Clara High School. In just his 4 years as the Head Girl’s Basketball Coach, Marin guided the Saints to 2 C.I.F. Finals appearances and 3 league titles. Marin began his high school coaching career at Santa Clara in 2003. He has led the Seraphs to CIF berths in his first 3 seasons.  He led the Seraphs to a school record 22 wins and to CIF-SS and CIF-State Semi-finals in 2013.  This followed up a 2012 season in which the Lady Seraphs reached the CIF-SS Quarterfinals and 20 wins . The back-to-back 20 win seasons were the first time it had been accomplished in Lady Seraph Basketball history. He began as the defensive coordinator on the JV football staff. In 2007, Marin joined the varsity football staff and was the defensive backs and wide receivers coach, as that team went on to win a C.I.F. title. He was the Div. 5AA CIF Coach of the Year in 2011 and has been honored 3 times in his 4 years as the League Coach of the Year.
