Christine Yangson

We are thrilled to announce that Christine Yangson will be joining the St. Bonaventure family as the new head girls volleyball coach. With her impressive track record and dedication to the sport, we are confident that she will lead our team to great success.   


Coach Yangson hails from La Reina High School in Thousand Oaks, where she led her team to an outstanding 26-6 overall record. Under her guidance, La Reina captured the Tri-Valley League championship, boasting a flawless 10-0 record. Her exceptional coaching prowess earned her the esteemed title of Tri-Valley League Coach of the Year.  In addition to her high school coaching experience, Coach Yangson is deeply involved in club volleyball. She currently coaches at Sports Academy, where she also serves as a Sports Performance coach, further demonstrating her expertise in athletic development.

A graduate of Chaminade, Coach Yangson honed her skills on the volleyball court during her college years at Moorpark College, showcasing her commitment to the sport both on and off the field.

We warmly welcome Coach Yangson to St. Bonaventure Catholic High School and look forward to a successful and rewarding volleyball season under her leadership.
