Meet the Coach - Alexis Baloyo

A proud Saint Bonaventure Alumna, Coach Baloyo graduated in 2020 after an incredible four-year career where she helped lead her team to the CIF State Southern Regional Finals, the greatest season in school history.  She was named first team ALL CIFSS in 2019 and was a two time All Tri-Valley League 1st Team Selection.  Her passion for the game took her to Ventura College, where she competed in both indoor and beach volleyball. Coach Baloyo excelled in multiple tournaments, including the CCCAA Beach Volleyball Pairs Championships, an experience which grew her love for the sport even further.

Making even more waves in the Volleyball Community, Coach Baloyo coaches Beach Volleyball at the Los Angeles Volleyball Academy, where she works with athletes of ages, helping to continue to grow the sport through young talent and inspiring the next generation of Volleyball players.

After completing her degree at California Lutheran University, Coach Baloyo is now working toward her teaching credential, showing her commitment to leadership both on and off the court. She's beyond excited to return to her roots and lead the Saint Bonaventure Volleyball program with energy, heart, and vision.   She will be a great model and mentor for the young ladies in our community to show them what it is to be a Seraph.
